Friends of Lake Five, Inc. (FLFI) was formed to protect, preserve and restore environmental water quality and wildlife habitat in the Lake Five area.
Who we are
Friends of Lake Five, Inc. (FLFI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that is made up of all volunteers. Our organization was formed in spring of 2020 as a scientific and educational cooperation.
What we are doing
FLFI has exciting plans starting summer of 2020. We are partnering with the Montana Loon Society to study the Loon’s habitats and feeding grounds. We are also implementing water monitoring in partnership with the Whitefish Lake Institute and North West Montana Lake Volunteer Citizen Scientists to gather scientific data on the quality of the water in Lake Five.
